On a goalline playaction play, Cardinals QB Kurt Warner looks towards our hero in the endzone, and loops a slightly overthrown pass in his direction.If you watch closely, you can see the moment when Patrick’s eyes light up and he realises he might be about to score a TD in the superbowl.

He follows this realisation by proving that he wants it more, jumping higher than he possibly ever has before, and wrestling the ball out of the hands of Larry Foote.

The TD changes the momentum of the game at a critical point, and sets Arizona on the path to taking charge as they build towards halftime and an almost certa- oh, wait…..Nice throw Kurt.

Panthers second-year tight end Dante Rosario has earned the right to be this week’s Who Dey? subject, as he caught the game-winning touchdown for the Carolina Panthers against the Chargers. The catch sunk the heavily favoured San Diego and capped a game where Rosario reeled in 7 catches for 96 yards.

Rosario was born in Beaverton, Oregon and excelled at Dayton High School, being named as the Oregon 2A defensive player of the year in 2002, a year in which he also rushed for more than 1,000 yards as the school’s starting running back. Converted from a blocking fullback into a tight end after one year at the University of Oregon, he scored 13 total TDs in 4 years with the Ducks. However, the most memorable thing Rosario did at Oregon was to flying kick a California player on a punt return, for which he was oddly not ejected much to the chagrin of Cal head coach Jeff Tedford.

The Panthers took a chance on him in round 5 of the 2007 Draft, as he was predicted to go undrafted, but it looks to have paid off. As long as Steve Smith is out of the lineup, expect our boy Dante to see significant touches, because DJ Hackett sucks.

This week’s subject is Cleveland Browns 2nd year wide reciever Syndric Steptoe, who impressed in the Browns’ week 2 preseason game against the Giants. He registered 3 catches for 80 yards and a TD, scored on a short screen play and had a big kickoff return in the absence of Josh Cribbs.

Steptoe attended Bryan High School in Texas, his hometown school, and went on to play at the University of Arizona for 3 years, where he majored in ‘family studies and human development’, apparently.

Whilst playing for the Wildcats, Steptoe became renowned for his blazing speed and punt return skills. He also earned the nickname ‘Magic Shoes’ after he returned a punt 67 yards for a touchdown against Pac-10 rivals Oregon State in 2006, showing his ability to make people miss.

After his senior year, in which he was selected as an all-conference player, he declared eligibility for the NFL and was drafted by the Browns in the 7th round, the 234th player selected, despite SI.com predicting he would go undrafted.

He spent his first season on the Browns’ practice squad, but after this preseason showing, maybe he will see more touches.
